Believe in the Gold is a charitable foundation dedicated to supporting children with Childhood Cancer. We are committed to helping support families with children suffering with cancer, building awareness of childhood cancer, and assisting innovative research initiatives for childhood cancers.
This is Believe in the Gold’s 11th Annual Run! The event will be held at Calgary Peace Park on September 14, 2024. The event starts in the morning with a breakfast or snacks, a run (10km & 5km) or family fun walk (1km), and then lots of family-friendly entertainment such as bouncy castles, face painting, crafts, magicians, and artists dressed up as favorite childhood characters. It is a celebration of life and an opportunity for the community to get together and support each other!

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month and you can choose to go virtual all month long. Please Join the Journey to end Childhood Cancer, and let's get virtual.
Anyone can participate, just put on your sneakers (gold ones, if you got '''em), head out the door, walk, run bike, on your favourite path, stroll in the park, hike a mountain trail, do what tickles your fancy. Just record those kilometers all in support of helping families with uncovered medical and travel expenses, Childhood Cancer research, and raising awareness.
Pick your distance, or register a group and target the 1,277 km challenge. No matter what your speed, method, or distance preferred will be, together, we can treat, fight, and Win!
