AMBROSE RULES
Each player hits off the tee, the best shot is selected and all other players pick up their ball and place it within one club length, alongside the best ball. Each person then hits a second shot from the same spot. The best shot is again selected. This continues until the ball is in the hole. On the putting green the best ball is marked and the other balls are played from this position. One score is recorded on each hole. This is the sum of the best shots used throughout the hole.
Additional rules…
- You must use at least 4 tee shots per player (record these on the scorecard)
- There are no gimmies, your team must putt out
- The max handicap for the event is 36
- The team handicap is the sum of all three handicaps divided by 8
- There will be a gross prize but the main competition is net scoring (total score – team handicap)
- Most importantly, please repair all pitch marks and divots!
