Help Meredith raise money

For participating in NAMI - Run for the Mind

My Story…

In 2011, I lost my sister, Carrie, to suicide. She was just 37 years old. Carrie was a fun, humorous and compassionate person who faced her struggles with courage, yet ultimately, the weight became too much to bear. Her passing led me to this mental health field bringing my expertise and experience in social work and the non-profit world, to provide hope to those who are battling the darkness she faced.

This year, I am participating in the NAMI DuPage Run for the Mind Annual Run in memory of Carrie and to honor her life. My goal is to raise $250 (or more!) to support NAMI DuPage’s critical work in providing FREE and low-cost mental health resources, support, and education to our community. Every dollar raised will contribute to saving lives and bringing hope to those who need it most.

I am running not just for Carrie, but for all those who continue to struggle in silence. Together, we can make a difference. Please consider donating to my fundraising page to help ensure that no one has to face their mental health challenges alone.

Thank you for your support and for helping me honor Carrie’s memory in such a meaningful way.
