2024 - 5km Run/Walk Through The Orchard
The 5km Run/Walk Through the Orchard is the 2nd annual event hosted by Kranicz Orchards & Windmill Ridge to raise funds for local charities. This year, the proceeds will benefit the Kiwanis Sunshine Point Camp in Harrow, supporting their community initiatives and programs. 
The mission of the Kiwanis Sunshine Point Camp is to enhance the lives of all deserving children of Windsor and Essex County. The camp provides a fun, five-day, five-night camping experience with programs designed to build self-esteem, teach social values and life skills, develop leadership potential, and encourage self-confidence. It's a safe and fun place where kids can be kids, unplugged from the digital world.
In operation for 77 years, the camp has welcomed 35,000 children. By participating in this run, you are supporting the Kiwanis Sunshine Point Camp, which offers this enriching experience to economically disadvantaged children. Your support helps ensure that more children can benefit from the positive, life-changing experiences the camp provides.

Post-Race Activities
After crossing the finish line, the fun continues! We have a variety of activities and amenities to ensure everyone has a great time:

- Food Truck: Enjoy authentic Tacos and Nachos from Taco El Rey. They will also be cooking up some burgers and hot dogs.
- Bar: Quench your thirst with a refreshing drink at our bar, featuring a selection of Windmill Ridges beers, ciders, wine, and fresh peach juice.
- Fruit Stand: Visit Kranicz Orchards fruit stand for fresh, locally-grown produce from the orchard.
- Flower Stand: Brighten your day with beautiful bouquets and arrangements from Dame Haven Farms.
- Baked Goods: Indulge in sweet treats and freshly baked goods from Kava Bakery.
- Dog Treats: Get your furry friend some all natural treats from Bark For Bites!
Entertainment and Activities:
- Music: Listen Dan Alice from 11AM to 2PM!
- Bouncy Castle: Keep the kids entertained with a fun and safe bouncy castle.
- Lawn Games: Join in on some classic lawn games such as cornhole, giant Jenga, and ring toss, perfect for all ages.
