My Story…
I serve on the board at Second Wind Fund, a leading nonprofit dedicated to suicide prevention. It is an honor to serve this organization as its mission is profoundly meaningful to me. My niece, Gabby, died by suicide in 2020.In honor of Gabby and everyone who has ever been impacted by suicide, I am raising money this month in conjunction with Second Wind Fund’s 23rd Annual Walk Run 
Description
Support me in raising funds for Second Wind Fund! Suicide is currently the leading cause of death for youth in Colorado. Second Wind Fund aims to decrease the incidence of suicide in children and teenagers by removing the financial and social barriers to treatment. Second Wind Fund's program is delivered in 30 counties across Colorado, including: Denver, Jefferson, Mesa, Arapahoe and Douglas Counties. To date, Second Wind Fund's program has served over 7,000 youth. Your support directly helps us save young lives from suicide.
Your Impact
Your support helps to save lives. Second Wind Fund is capable of saving a young life from suicide for every $1,240 received:
12 therapy sessions at $90 a session = $1,800
3 Suicidal Ideation Questionnaires (SIQs) = $30
Therapist travel reimbursement = $120
Minimal administrative costs = $10
Total = $1,240
