Pittsburgh 5K SCADaddle for Research

Chip Timing

We use a disposable chip timing tag that participants receive at packet pick up on their race bibs. It is lightweight and remains attached to the race bib. Runners/walkers must wear their race bibs on the front of their clothing in order to be timed accurately. Please do not layer over the bib.

Early Packet Pick-Up for Runners AND Walkers: TBA.

Packet pick-up is also available at the 5K starting at 7:30am.

Registrations will be accepted during Early Packet Pick-up and on Race Day, but we cannot guarantee a T-shirt after September 1, 2024, so please register early!!

Awards

Awards will be given to overall winner male and female.

Medals/recognition will be given to 2nd and 3rd place male/female overall and to the top three males/females for age groups:

9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79 and 80 and older.

We are honored to have Dr. Patricia Best join us for the SCAD Social Reunion and the SCADaddle on Sunday! Dr. Best will present the latest research findings on Saturday evening and answer questions as time permits. Dr. Best is an associate professor of internal medicine and cardivascular diseases at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. She is an interventional cardiologist, an active member of the Women's Heart Clinic and a researcher at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Join other SCAD Survivors, their supporters, and Angel Families for a night to meet, eat and learn! A Buffet dinner meal will be included in the Reunion final cost!

6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

The event will begin with early 5K packet pickup and our meet & greet. A cash only bar will be available throughout the evening. Shop our SCAD store and meet others impacted by SCAD.

Dinner and Presentation - Welcoming remarks, dinner and Dr. Best will present Mayo Clinic's latest research findings and answer questions as time permits.
