3rd Annual Cycling Event Benefitting the
Boys & Girls Club of Bluffton, SC
We’re thrilled to offer Lowcountry riders the opportunity to experience Bluffton’s beauty. Riders of various levels of experience will enjoy carefully planned, scenic routes while simultaneously giving back to the children of our community who need it most.
There are 5 route options designed to offer something for everyone. The 62-mile (metric century) and 30-mile road rides are for avid cyclists. The 20-mile pathway/road combo and the 10-mile pathway rides are for fitness enthusiasts who may not have extensive biking experience but are looking for a challenge. The family-friendly 2-mile ride is designed for the Club members and their families, and community members who want to get out and support The Boys & Girls Club.
Additionally, Bike-for-a-Kid is an opportunity to ride and further support the Club. For any of the distance offerings, Pedal-for-a-Kid adds a commemorative custom bike jersey to the packet, a built-in donation to the Club, and photo of a Club member to pin on your jersey to celebrate why you're riding!
All routes will have ride ambassadors, course marshals and public safety personnel. Riders are expected to maintain an average pace for each route:
- 62-mile: 17-20 MPH
- 30-mile: 13-16 MPH
- 20-mile: 12-14 MPH
- 10-mile: 8-10 MPH
There will be rest/snack stops on the 62, 30, and 20-mile routes with portable restrooms or facilities. Stay for the post-event food and festivities!
Riders: please line up 15 minutes prior to the start of your ride for event announcements.
HELMETS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL RIDERS.

With your registration, Bike-for-a-Kid riders receive a commemorative Bike Bluffton bicycle jersey, t-shirt, an included donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Bluffton and a photo of a club member to wear during the ride. Select your route distance during registration.

The safety of our participants and volunteers is our most important concern and if any of the threatening weather conditions are present the day of the event (tornado warning, tornado watch, thunderstorm, heavy rain or a hurricane decides to visit), the event may be delayed or canceled.
When weather conditions or other physical conditions present a danger to participants, such conditions fall under the label “acts of mother nature,” it will not result in refunding of any event entry fees or future event credits, since funds were already spent in preparation for your event day.
