Wednesday Night at the Races for Kids - Hermantown High School - August 21

Wednesday Night at the Races has become one of our most popular summer programs.

These races are FREE for children ages 14 and under and are held on Wednesday evenings in July and August.

Online Registration is available until 3 p.m. on each race day, and then switches to in-person registration held onsite beginning at 5 p.m.

The races will start at 6:00 p.m. on each of the dates listed below.

July 24 — Superior High School
July 31 — Two Harbors High School
July 31 — Proctor High School
August 7 — Duluth East High School
August 14 — Duluth Denfeld High School
August 21 — Hermantown High School
August 28 – Wade Stadium

All sites are wheelchair and adaptive participant accessible. Please see a race official when you arrive.

The weekly event sees an average of 400 children participate each week and is a central pillar in the YAF’s mission to encourage area kids to live active and healthy lifestyles.

Every participant is a champion and receives a ribbon at the end of their event.

5 & 6 Years Old – 1/8 mile
7 & 8 Years Old – 1/4 mile
9 & 10 Years Old – 1/4 mile
11 & 12 Years Old – 1/2 Mile
