The route will take runners across the city, stopping off at some of our best pubs, breweries and bars along the way. Each runner is assigned a leg segment of the route which will end at a location where a drink (non-alcoholic option available if requested) will be waiting for them. Once the glass is empty, the next runner starts their leg… and so on until the relay is complete. The legs will be of varying difficulty (expect at least one hilly leg!) and length but will generally be around 5-8km.
Date: Saturday, October 19th, 2024
Time: Race Package Pickup 8:00- 8:45 am. All teams start together at 9:00am.
Results, awards and presentations are anticipated to be held around 1:00pm and we expect everything to be done around 3:00 pm.

Prior to the event, team captains will receive an email with brief outlines of the 6 relay legs for team members to pick from. Detailed maps will not be provided until you pick up your race kit on race day! Team waiver forms MUST BE COMPLETED before the start and will be emailed to the team captain. Unlike in previous years, all teams will start together for this year's relay. This is not a race of speed, but if you are fast, we may have engineered some dastardly challenges along the way to slow you down and allow others to catch up! :) Team captains are responsible for organizing their teams and for passing on information.
Race Day - All teams will meet at our starting location Kelowna Brewing Company (122-975 Academy Way, Kelowna between 8:00 and 8:45am to pick up their race package envelope. The envelope will contain your team bib numbers, detailed maps and information about the relay route, the host pubs, pub relay sponsors, and other goodies.
