Why: Sickle Cell Disease primarily impacts communities of color. It is a lifelong condition that creates challenges for over 100,000 people in the United States .

Join Us as we host a 5k Run / Walk for Sickle Cell Awareness

CoffeeRun is Partnering with Massachusetts Sickle Cell Association to present its 5k / Walk for Sickle Cell. The 5k/Walk is part of the organization's education awareness campaign to raise the profile of sickle cell. Funds raised go towards advocacy, awareness and programs to improve the quality of life of individuals, families and communities affected by sickle cell disease.

Spread the word, invite your friends, and lets help make a difference in our community. We are so excited for you to join us!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

You must register for the run / walk to receive a swag bag!

In-Person

Join us at Franklin Park, SUNDAY, October 13th, 2024 . 8am to 1pm.

Registration begins at 8:00am and the run kicks off at 9:00am.

Virtual

Can’t join us in person? Then run / walk wherever you wish; treadmill, race track, or a park near you

Be sure to follow us on social media for updates leading up to the day of the run. Don’t forget to send us pictures with a caption on the day of the run, as we will be posting them on our social media pages.
