New for 2024
- Course has been modified to eliminate crossover as faster runners are finishing
- Starting area will be segmented into 3 sections based on projected finish time. Faster runners will be placed in the front 2 sections.
- Bib time will be used to determine age group awards.
- Additional restroom facilities will be available this year
- Dogs will not be permitted in the 5k for safety reasons and concerns raised by participants

Race Time
8:20am: Children’s Fun Run
3 events: 100 meters for younger children, 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile for older children
Parents may participate with children
9:00am: 5K run
Walkers, families, strollers welcome!
- Participants with strollers will be permitted but are required to start in the back of the starting area.
- Participants will be assigned starting sections based on projected finish time

Online entries through Nov. 24: $30.00 (includes t-shirt)
Online entries Nov. 25-26: $40.00 (no t-shirt)
Post entries Nov. 27 (2:00 to 6:00 p.m.)
& Nov 28 (7:30 to 8:30 a.m.): $40.00 (no t-shirt)

We strongly suggest participants use these lots with their convenient location.

3 events will be available based on age and/or ability of each child: 100 meters for younger children, 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile for older children Parents may participate with children

Price changes in 1 month 16 days-
Runners and walkers are encouraged to participate in this event. Everyone is welcome. Slower runners and walkers will be asked to start the event at the back of the field of participants. Strollers are welcome, but are expected to start at the back of the field of participants to avoid creating tripping hazards. Dogs are not permitted on the race course

Food Bank Donations
Food Bank Donations
Competitors and spectators are encouraged to bring at least 2 or 3 non-perishable items for donation to local food banks to help those in need during the holiday season.
Donors will be eligible for a special prize drawing which must be claimed the morning of the run

Baby Strollers
Competitors with strollers will be permitted but are required to start in the back of the starting area.
Dogs
Dogs are not permitted on the race course

Overall Male and Female - $100 gift card
Second Overall Male and Female - $60 gift card
Third Overall Male and Female - $50 gift card

Awards to the top 3 male and female finishers in each age category unless noted otherwise

Awards must be picked up immediately after the race
Unclaimed awards will be donated to non-profit organizations supported by the event
Random awards will be drawn for 5K participants at 10:10am

- Blue Rock Fire Department
Random Awards
Drawings for random awards will be held at 10:10 on race day. Individuals must be present to win random awards.
Drawings will include items such as gift cards, clothing and pumpkin pies
Over $400 in random prizes will be distributed
