Welcome to the 9th year of our original popular multi-day running challenge.
This year the Coastal 5 has been modified to include just the one day on Thurs July 25th as we already have scheduled run #4 in our Coastal 42 Series on Tues July 23rd.
The event will revert back to our original event distance of only the 42.2km marathon distance on our AIMS measured Semaphore South spartan course.
Due to having difficulty finding volunteer support this event will now be a totally self supported event. (This means finisher medals and race bibs will be handed out before the event at the race briefing. You will need to record your run on Strava or the like showing "elapsed" time).

The event is 100 marathon club approved and is run on an AIMS measured course along the coast starting from Semaphore.
All "coastalfunruns" full marathon courses are measured to equal a total distance of 42.195kms (42.2kms).
Depending on the location they will contain any of the following..
an out and back 21.1km loop, a point to point 42.195km, 6 x 7.0325km loops, 4 x 10.0km loops with an added 2.20km section or 4 x 10.55km loops.
Some of our courses are AIMS certified and measured.
