Your participation in the 2024 Run2Serve event supports more than 3000 hours of volunteerism in the greater metropolitan Phoenix area each year. Run2Serve is the primary fundraiser for Hospitality Services Center, which houses short-term volunteers and coordinates opportunities to serve many charitable needs including refugee resettlement, food bank operations, faith community nursing, reading and language programs for under-served populations, housing repairs and much more.

Hospitality Services Center welcomes the support of any business or individual who is able to become an Event Sponsor. The minimum donation to become an Event Sponsor for Run2Serve is $500.00, which comes with two free race registrations, recognition for the sponsor (or a designated school, charity or in memoriam) on the website, race T-shirt and during the Event. Your donation is tax-deductible as HSC is an Arizona 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

To register by mail please complete and return our Mail-in Registration Form! Please make checks payable to StartLine Racing.
All Participants Receive:
Custom Event shirt. Option to select 'No Shirt' and receive a $5 discount on your registration. Shirt deadline has passed.
All runners are automatically entered into the post race raffle drawing.
Medals will be given to the top 3 male and top 3 female finishers in the 5K.
Pre- and Post-Race "Runner's Brunch" (bagels, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc)
Chip Timed with Real Time Results and Photos provided by StartLine Racing and posted on their Website or Mobile App (on Apple and Google)
Course Information
Course Descriptions: Both the 5K and 1K course start and finish at the grassy area on the lower canal, easily visible from above.
The 5K course starts out heading northwest on the paved trail, then turns around just west of the 67th Avenue ramadas, and returns along the same route. The 5K course is stroller friendly.
The Kids 1K course is the same course as the 5K, but truncated to 1K out and back inclusive.
Race Day Information
Race Day Registration will be available beginning at 6:30am at Thunderbird Paseo Park.
We accept cash and checks on race day
- Cost of registration on race day will be $40.
We welcome wheelchairs, strollers & wagons. You must start at the back of the pack.
Bicycles, roller blades/skates, skateboards or motorized devices are not allowed on the run or walk courses.
Parking is available on a first come first serve basis at the park with entrances from both Thunderbird Road west of 59th Ave or from 59th Ave south of Thunderbird Road. Overflow parking is available across the street in the Fry's shopping plaza.
Packet Pick-up Opportunities
Packet pickup will be available on the day of the race starting at 6:30am.

HSC Mission: We provide low-cost short-term housing for volunteers from across North America, who come to the Center to work alongside local volunteers, giving their time and resources to serve many charitable needs in the Greater Metropolitan Phoenix, Arizona area; We coordinate volunteer service opportunities with HSC’s mission partners, including SOOP, Goldensun Peace Ministries, International Rescue Committee, Faith Community Nursing, Home Repair, West-Side Food Bank, and others.
