It will be a glorious October morning run or walk through City Park before the CBS Family Picnic!

The 2024 Brother Laurence Run 'n' Shuck Oyster Cup will be held on Saturday, October 5th at Christian Brothers School in New Orleans City Park.

Following the race, join us for some great food and local craft beer! This is a family fun event that has drawn over 500 runners and walkers in the past.

This year there is a distance for everyone with a 2 Mile and 1 Mile race, as well as a Kids Trot (recommended for kids age 8 and under)! We hope to see you there!

All proceeds benefit Christian Brothers School.

AWARDS & SCORING:

Event is Chip timed, your timing chip is affixed to reverse side of bib number. Do not fold or remove timing chip. Please make sure your bib number is visible during the event.

Overall and Age Group Divisons:

1st Overall Male and Female

Age Group Awards ( 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place)

We will have a brief post race awards ceremony with gift cards from TASC, Varsity Sports, and Louisiana Running Company!

POST RACE PICNIC:

After the race, enjoy some fresh cold oysters from Mato's! Chef Chris Piacun will be cooking up some pastalya with ingredients donated by Lakeview Grocery! There will also be Chee Wees, and many other snacks available! 

The kids can rehydrate with cold water from Evamor and PowerAde! 
There will also be cold craft beer from Second Line Brewery, Urban South, and St. Arnold!
