On June 22, 2020, just one day before Collins 6th birthday, Collins Leach and Wilkes Leach traveled with his father on the interstate to meet their mother. They never made it. As they exited the interstate, a semi-truck, and trailer struck the rear of their vehicle. Collins was killed. Her brother and father in the car survived with some injuries, only to learn later that Collins was gone.

Despite the heartbreak, my son and I have found strength and support through Baptist Centers for Good Grief, and we are now empowered to navigate the challenges of grief and build a brighter future. Please join us in raising money and awareness for this much needed organization in our community.
