WELCOME
Harbour2VineCycle Classic is a charity bike ride and will be held on Sunday 27th October 2024. With proceeds from registrations and raffles on the day going to Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
The Harbour2Vine Cycle Classic returns for its 16th year in 2024 for a bigger and better than previous years. The ride that you know, and love will return with a point-to-point 58km ride from Rydges Newcastle to Rydges Resort Hunter Valley.
58km & 92km Rides will include: Start your day with Breakfast on the foreshore at Rydges Newcastle as you prepare to ride from the serenity of the coast to the finish line in the heart of wine country at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley, when you arrive be treated with the best lunch offered on any charity ride in the area and beyond. Have your support crew meet you there and enjoy the expansive grounds that the resort has to offer.
Registration closing date is midnight Friday Sunday 25th October 2024.
34km Ride will be registrations will be kept open until 8.30am on the day

FINISH LINE: back to Rydges Resort Hunter Valley
COST: $60pp (includes ride, rider ID plate and lunch)
If you are just starting out on your cycling journey or perhaps looking for a more casual cadence then the 34km Winery Loop is for you. Starting and finishing at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley this loop is suitable for novice riders looking to take in the beautiful surrounds of Wine Country. Riders be aware that there are also a couple of challenging climbs to keep you tapping away at the pedals to make you feel like you have earned that glass of wine at the end.

Join us for our classic 58km ride from Rydges Newcastle Harbour front following states roads through to Rydges Resort Hunter Valley. Includes a catered rest stop at Peace Park Weston.

COST: $110pp (includes breaky, ride, rider ID plate, rest stop snack and lunch)
For those looking to challenge themselves we have added this option to increase your ride from 58km to 92km via a 34km loop of wine country to experience the tranquil country roads of Lovedale, Pokolbin and surrounds. Leaving Rydges Newcastle at 7:30am to complete the classic 58km H2V, you will then be able to re-fill your water bottle and carbohydrate reserves at the Peace Park rest stop then continue to complete the ride and 34km loop through the scenic Hunter Valley vineyards finishing at the award winning Rydges Resort Hunter Valley for beer/wine and lunch.

Please note:
- Breakfast for 58km & 92km will be a light continental meal (espresso coffees will be available for additional cost, please see FAQ's on website for menu)
- One rest stop located at Peace Park Weston (toilets and shade available)
- Raising funds for Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service, via online donations and raffles
- Raffles will be drawn on the day
- Riders will leave in groups of 40-50 riders at a time and within 10min intervals
- Partners are welcomed for lunch but must pay for lunch at the time of riders registration
