Thanksgiving Day 5K Run and Walk

THANKSGIVING DAY 5K RUN/WALK
AT LIPPOLD PARK

WHEN: Thursday, November 28, 2024

START: 8 A. M. Sharp (Rain, snow or shine)

WHERE: Lippold Park, Crystal Lake, Illinois

851 W. IL Route 176; About 1/2 mile west of the intersection

of US Route 14 & IL Route 176

DISTANCE & COURSE:

5 Km(3.1 miles) certified course with markers every 1/2 mile.

Flat & mostly crushed limestone.

WALK IN REGISTRATION:

Running Depot Wednesday, 11/27/2023 from Noon to 3 PM

Lippold Park, Thursday, 11/28/2023 from 6 AM to 7:30 AM

BIB PICKUP:

Saturday 11/24/2024 at the Running Depot from 10a to 1pm

Wednesday 11/27/2024 at the Running Depot from Noon to 3 PM

Thursday Race day at Lippold Park 7am- 8am

DIRECTIONS:

Lippold Park is located on the south side of Rt. 176

on the west side of Crystal Lake and approximately

1/2 mile west of the intersection of Rt. 14 and Rt. 176.

ENTRY FEE:

VOLUNTARY Monetary and or Non-Perishable Food Donations will be accepted. Checks should be made payable to the Crystal Lake Food Pantry. All donations will be accepted on RACE DAY at Lippold Park. We strongly suggest that you make a monetary donation by check because the food pantry is able to purchase approximately 7 times more food with your money donation than you could purchase individually. All check donations, that have a postal address on the check will receive an acknowledge of their donation. Food pantry is in need of paper goods this year.

RESULTS:

There will be two display clocks located at the finish to record your own time.

AWARDS:

Gift certificates for the first place male and female finishers will be provided by the The Running Depot
