Raise money for KYDS Youth Counselling
KYDS provides free, tailored counselling to young people aged 10-18 and their families for as long as it's needed. We're passionate about removing the barriers that can prevent young people from accessing mental health support - with no Medicare card, GP referral or mental health plan required.
Our services include individual counselling, family-based interventions, parenting intervention, therapeutic group sessions and well-being programs. KYDS seeks to strengthen the links between young people, their families and others in their support network to help them overcome their challenges and build resilience, in a warm and inclusive environment.
Funding support received through the Spin-a-thon will allow us to provide free counselling to vulnerable young people in more locations on the Northern Beaches, thereby increasing accessibility to counselling services for local young people and their parents/carers.
