Gianna's Cheers for Hope - 5K Fun Run/Walk

2nd Annual | 5K Fun Run/Walk Event

Time: 10 AM - 2 PM

Place: DeMuro Park, Margaret Avenue, Nutley NJ

Registration Information

• Upon registering, you will be given a t-shirt and a water bottle
• The prices for admission:
  • Adults/Children (12 y/o or older): $30
  • Children (12 y/o or younger): Free Admission
  • It is encouraged to register prior to the event, however, we will also allow registration at the park
• Late registration and registration at the door is allowed, but there is no guarantee you will be given a t-shirt, as we have to place the order before a certain date.

Rain or shine -- bring everyone! Gianna's Cheers for Hope is hosting its second annual 5K Fun Run/Walk Event! The event will include the following:

• Light refreshments (hot cider and coffee!) and snacks will be included (i.e. bagels, cookies, apple cider donuts, etc.)
• A 3 mile run/walk and a 1 mile fun run for children. Wear sneakers!

Costumes are encouraged! (Gianna loved Halloween and dressed up every year!)

The venue includes:

• Parking Lot (as well as parking around the track)
• Restrooms
• Playground Area
• Sitting Areas
• Activities for Kids (rock painting, cornhole, etc)

All proceeds from the event will go towards furthering pediatric cancer research, educational scholarships for NHS students, and supporting families with kids who are battling cancer in the Nutley community and beyond. More about our mission can be found here.
