The LRR community, family, and friends are invited to join us for our annual Little Rocky "Run" on Thanksgiving morning! It's a great opportunity to come out and and get in a little exercise and a lot of fun with your neighbors! Since its inception in 2016, the LRR Thanksgiving Day event has continued to attract more people each year.
The event starts and ends at the Little Rocky Run Homeowners Association Office at Recreation Center 2 and continues along the neighborhood streets. Both one and three mile routes will be marked with signs and arrows. Do as much or as little as you like!

Neighbors who aren't participating are invited to cheer on the participants from their front porch or driveway. This special event is a huge hit with spectators and participants alike.
The event will begin at 8 a.m. with announcements and the National Anthem. After you finish, please return to the front of the HOA office for water and treats.

Race Day Parking
Recommend parking at the Union Mill Elementary School. To reach the school please do not use Sandstone Way as the race will start in the street. Please use Springstone Drive to get to the Union Mill Elementary School parking lot.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are dogs allowed on the course? |
Dogs are allowed on the course so long as they are leashed per Section 41.1-2-4 of the Fairfax County Animal Control and Care Ordinance. Also, please dispose of pet waste in one of the many stations located throughout Little Rocky Run. |
Are strollers allowed on the course? |
Yes! This race is stroller friendly. |
Is this race timed? |
We will have a race clock out for participants to track their start/finish time. There will not be individual bibs handed out for individual race times. |
Does the money go to charity? |
The cost for the race is so low that little to no funds will remain after the event. Cost for the race go to pay for the DJ, food, police support, etc. Any little remaining funds are deposited in the Little Rocky Run account to be used for future community events. |
