We're excited to bring back the Driveway 5K with our friends from the Driveway Series. Join us on Thursday, September 12th for our 5th event of the year.
For this 5th race in the series, we'll have 1 combined race with Open as well as Women's and Men's Competitive starting with at 7:45 pm. This course is ideal for spectators wanting to see the race action.
For this race, we'll also be hosting the USATF TX Southern 5k Championships as a division within this 7:45 race. If you would like your results to be included in the USATF TX Southern 5K Championship results, select this division in your form entry. To participate in the USATF TX Souther 5K Championship division, you'll need a USATF #, this membership can be purchased here: USATF Membership.
Cash prizes will be awards in the Competitive Women's and Men's Division 5K races, $150 for 1st, $100 for 2nd, $50 for 3rd will be awarded to top male and female competitors. As always, good vibes and high fives are free. This is a chip timed event. The 5K course is USATF certified.

Competitive Women's & Men's 5K Race
Cash prizes will be awarded in the Competitive Women's and Men's 5K race, $150 for 1st, $100 for 2nd, $50 for 3rd will be awarded to the top male and female competitors.
The Course
This looped course gives spectators a chance to see the action. The loop is a little under 2 miles distance, so the race covers almost 2 laps for the 5K. The course is USATF Certified. You can view the course loop here: The Driveway 5K - MapMyRun.
The Driveway 5K Series
This year we'll have 6 races, 3 on Saturday Mornings and 3 on Thursday Evenings.
Race Dates:
- Saturday, May 11th, first race starting at 7:00am
- Thursday, June 6th, first race starting at 8:10pm
- Saturday, July 20th, first race starting at 6:45am
- Saturday, August 17th, first race starting at 7:15 am
- Thursday, September 12th, 1 combined race starting at 7:45pm
- Thursday, October 17th, first race starting at 8:10 pm (Registration Page coming soon)
- Start Times, Saturday races: 7:15 am for the open & competitive races.
- Start Times, Thursday races: 8:10pm for combined Open and Competitive 5K Race. Thursday races will be on June 6th, September 12th and October 3rd.
- Packet Pickup: Bibs can be picked up at The Loop (115 Sandra Muraida Way Ste 105B, Austin, TX 78703) on the day before each race, or on race day at the race site, starting 1 hour before the start time.
