Miles for Missions

Join us for the Miles for Missions 5K Run/Walk on November 9th, starting at St. Matthews United Methodist Church in Madison, MS. This event is designed to bring the community together for a fun and active day while raising funds to support our church’s mission work in Honduras with Salt n Light Ministries. A Honduran family will be selected to receive a 3 bedroom home through the church’s mission fund. The mission team will support the construction onsite along with providing medical clinics at sites in small rural communities.

Whether you're a competitive runner or prefer a leisurely walk with friends, this 5K is perfect for all ages and fitness levels. Participants will follow a scenic route through Madison, with plenty of water stations and volunteer support along the way.

Time: Check-in starts at 7:00 AM, Race begins at 8:00 AM

Location: St. Matthews United Methodist Church, 7427 Old Canton Rd, Madison, MS

Distance: 5 kilometers (3.1 miles)

Each participant will receive a race T-shirt, finisher’s medal, and post-race refreshments. Awards will be given to the top finishers in various age categories.

All proceeds from Miles for Missions will support St. Matthews' outreach and mission initiatives, helping those in need both near and far. Whether you’re running to beat your personal best or walking to support a great cause, your participation makes a difference!
