Teams of four battle it out over a fast & furious 5km course in the picturesque Broadwater Parklands. The twilight relay sees runners complete 2 flat and fast loops, ensuring plenty of action for fans and banter between teams!
There are four (4) divisions on offer, Open Female, Open Male, Open Mixed (2 Females/2 Males) and Junior Mixed (2 Females/2 Males - 4 x 2.5km). Mixed teams of other denominations are welcome but are ineligible for podium awards.
With great prizes, giveaways, food, live tunes and beers on hand; the RECC. Active 'Run the World' Relay includes all the great aspects of the run community in one idyllic location on the stunning Gold Coast waterways.

Course Map
Flat and fast; runners will head north; loop around the park before returning along the same route, before veering left and looping through the wetlands space. Each runner will complete 2 loops. At the end of the first loop, runners stay on the footpath to the east/waterside of the car park and race precinct and head out for the second lap.
At the completion of the second loop, runners pass back through the Trail Trips race arch to tag their team-mate approximately 50m past the arch in the 'exchange zone' marked by the 'Run the World' arch.
