(4 x 'Wicked Wednesdays' for 9-14 year olds)

Get ready for four exhilarating Summer Holiday sessions with the Junior Salty Program!

Tailored for 9-14-year-olds, this program offers four action-packed Wednesday morning sessions at Tallebudgera Creek and Tallebudgera Beach.

Junior Salty Squad Summer Program is a 4 x junior open water swimming program, with sessions held every Wednesday morning from 7.15am to 8.30am at Tallebudgera Creek and Tallebudgera Beach on the Gold Coast over the Summer school break (meet on the beach in front of the Neptunes Lifesaving Club).

Sessions are open to all competent 9 - 14 year old swimming and ocean enthusiasts from within the community - swimmers, triathletes, surf lifesavers, surfers, water polo athletes etc....

Expert surf swimming coach Karla Gilbert, Adam Pine & Ty Dowker oversee and coordinates the sessions ensuring a well-organized, fun and engaging experience.

Water safety is a top priority, and the sessions benefit from the participation of additional expert coaches joining in weekly to share their knowledge throughout the block. The total cost for all four sessions is only $85 ($20 a session + 5.5% online processing fee), and spots are limited, so secure your spot soon!

The block will start on Wednesday 18th December 2024 with session dates and times below:

Wednesday 18th December 2024 - 7.15am - 8.30am

Wednesday 8th January 2025 - 7.15am - 8.30am

Wednesday 15th January 2025 - 7.15am - 8.30am

Wednesday 22nd January 2025 - 7.15am - 8.30am

Please note: in the event of bad weather or water quality, a 'make up' session will be held.

Participants must be able to swim 200m and tread water for 3mins in open water.

The focus of this swimming program is to 'Unlock Open Water Confidence' and 'Fostering Friendships' through developing lifelong swimming knowledge, skills and fitness in a professional, fun and engaging environment.
