My Story…
A short 6 months ago on September 17th, I received a heart and liver transplant here in Charlotte, North Carolina with Atrium Health. As you can imagine the expenses involved in transplants is enormous even with insurance. Atrium Health has teams that help us as patients and recipients through many of these expenses. I don’t know what I would’ve done or would be doing now if it wasn’t for their help.
I am going to be walking in this 5K celebrating having my new heart and liver and asking for anyone, if you are able, to make some donation to help for all of the patients now and in the future that will need assistance through the long process. Anything that you can donate would be greatly appreciated by all!
