Registration includes two 1 hour practice sessions at the Mississauga Canoe Club. Instruction and leadership from qualified and experienced coaches throughout the practice sessions and on race day. Three 200m races for all teams. All required equipment - including dragon boat, paddles and PFDs.

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR 2025
Team Registration Process:
Step 1: Each team captain registers their team and completes the payment process.
Step 2: Once registered, the captain will receive a unique link to share with all team members.
Step 3: Every paddler must register individually. The link sent from captains will take you to: "Join an Existing Team," select your team, complete the individual registration, and sign the event waiver.
All participants must be registered and have signed the waiver before race day. Unregistered paddlers will not be allowed to race.
New This Year: Wristband Policy:
Wristbands, printed with each participant's name will be issued to captains at The MDBF registration check-in. Only registered paddlers with a signed waiver will receive a wristband.
Captains can ensure their team is fully registered by referring back to your Race Roster Team Page.
Schedule Outline
The event will start at 7:15 a.m. with team registration followed by the Team Captains Meeting at 7:50 a.m.
Races will begin at 8:50 a.m. and will run until approximately 3:30 p.m.
8:15 a.m. NEW THIS YEAR: GROUP WARM UP - Powered by SWAT Health (10 mins)
Get ready to kick off the day strong with a high-energy, 10 minute group-warm up led by the amazing team from SWAT Health! These fitness pros will get your blood pumping and your paddling muscles primed so you're race-ready and feeling your best. Don't miss it - it's the perfect way to launch an epic day on the water!
