The 36th annual -12 Mile Creek Trail Half Marathon & 7k
The half marathon (21 km) race follows a historic route which includes the first Welland Canal. The first leg of the race includes the Merritt Trail towards downtown St.Catharines, then heads back to the trails behind Brock University, but only after you have confronted Hydro Hill as you ascend the Niagara escarpment. The 7 km race, for those that would prefer a shorter distance, is a challenging trail section which incorporates the last part of the half marathon. Speaking of the last part of the course, unlike 2024, we will endeavor to more accurately measure and mark this section! My apologies for last year's mess up.

21.1 km or 13.1 miles. The walking division starts earlier than the main event.
7 k runner
This event is for those not wishing to participate in the half marathon. It is a challenging trail run which includes Hydro Hill (the Niagara escarpment) and the latter part of the half marathon route.
