Thank you for considering volunteering for The Challenge on April 13th. This large of an event is not possible without great volunteers like you. Below you will find a list of the various times we need extra hands to make this event a success and hope you will join us!
If you have any questions or cannot fulfill your volunteer commitment, please let us know ASAP.

REGISTRATION VOLUNTEER NEEDS
Registration // Dauch Alumni Center // Friday 4/12, 3:45-6:30 p.m
AND
Registration // Corner of W. Stadium Ave & N. University St. (by the Arch) // Saturday 4/13, 6:45 - 8:15 a.m.
Registration runs Friday 4:00p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Hand out bibs and t-shirts to pre-registered participants. Also help direct participates to the bib table and then direct participates to the ID station for race day completion adult beverage wristbands and finish off directing them to the pre-race fuel snacks.
Saturday, Report at 6:45 am (registration begins at 7:00 am) between the Gateway Arch and Armstrong building (Corner of W. Stadium Ave & N. University St.). Registration closes at 8:15 a.m. Hand out bibs and t-shirts to pre-registered participants. Also help direct crowd to the ID station for post-race adult beverage.
RACE DAY VOLUNTEER NEEDS
Set-Up // Saturday 4/13, 6:00 - 8:30 a.m.
Help direct participants to registration and/or start line - monitor race area to keep clean - direct people to restrooms, hold signs for race start speeds.
Race Route Stations // Saturday 4/13, 7:30 a.m. - race completion (around 10:30 a.m.)
You will be responsible for being at your assigned location along the route to guide participants and cheer them on. When you check in on Saturday morning, our Volunteer coordinator, will assign your location to you and help you get to your location on the route. There will also be a quick meeting with the Police Officers for you to help ensure safety along the route. You will cheer on participants, and most importantly help direct traffic at intersections to keep our race route safe.
Finish Line Station and Tear Down // Saturday 4/13, 7:45 a.m. - race completion (around 10:30 a.m.)
Help hand out medals to runners as they cross the finish line. Pick up supplies, dispose of trash and pick-up area at the conclusion of all runners completing the race.
