Race Day Details
Come camp out Friday night so you can roll out of your tent and on to the start line! No late starts will be permitted.
This course will deviate from the original route (2019 and earlier) around the 6.5km mark. From here you follow the ATV trail downhill before you start heading up the new climb (yet to be named). Eventually this ATV trail climb turns into singletrack, which will lead you back to the original course. You'll continue on the original route at the ~10k mark. Everything else on the 31k loop will be on the original course.
All distances start at 8:00am sharp.
Aid stations: There will be 1 aid station approximately 18k into the loop (Gerry's cabin -- see pic of Gerry's below), plus another aid station at the start/finish. These aid stations will have water, Coke, Tailwind and regular aid station fare.
**No cups as usual, so bring your own drinking do-hickey.
Cut-off times (race time):
KM 17.5 Gerry's cabin = 3h30m (NOTE: if you miss this cut-off time, you will have to hike out 1.5kms to get picked up by your drive)
KM 31 (at start/finish area) for 62k runners to start loop 2 = 4h45m
KM 48.5 Gerry's cabin #2 = 7h15m (NOTE: if you miss this cut-off time, you will have to hike out 1.5kms to get picked up by your drive)
