The NASFAA National Conference is the premier in-person event serving the student financial aid community. Thousands of student aid professionals from across the nation attend the NASFAA National Conference each year to teach, learn, network, and share best practices.
This year, NASFAA has selected Higher Ground Youth & Family Services as our conference charitable organization. You can support this organization by participating in our Charity 5K (in person, virtually, or as part of the Cheer Squad), attending our Charity Trivia Night & Silent Disco, or making a donation.
Important Notes
- Due to Raceroster system requirements and our charity events being strictly donation-based, you must register for each event separately if you choose to participate in multiple events.
- The Charity Trivia Night and Silent Disco events will occur at the same time and place. Please register for one or the other.
- 5K T-shirts are only available for those who registered by May 23, 2025
Direct Donations
Direct donations can be made throughout the conference without registering for an event. You may also register for an event and donate on top of your registration fee. Please select the "donate now" buttons on the right or left panels of this page.
Pre-Race Social
Conference attendees are also welcome to join us on Monday, June 23 (the evening before the NASFAA 2025 Charity 5K) for a pre-race social designed to build community and enhance your race experience.

NASFAA 2025 attendees and their guests are invited to participate in a Charity 5K Run/Walk on the morning of Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Check-in Time: Bib and T-shirt* pick-up will begin at 7:00 a.m. | Start Time: The run/walk will start promptly at 8:00 a.m. All proceeds will go directly to our conference charity partner, Higher Ground Youth &Family Services. We invite you to join us in this opportunity to come together as a community, meet new people, and share in the excitement of our 5K participants. Come ready to cheer, clap, and support the runners as they pass by. Feel free to bring signs and banners to show your support and add to the festive atmosphere. Non-participating conference attendees are welcome to stop by and cheer on the teams. *Also note, this event happens at the same time and place as the Silent Disco.
