The Sarah Beckett Memorial Run is a 5km run and walk in honour of fallen RCMP officer Cst. Sarah Beckett who was killed in the line of duty on April 5, 2016. The 2025 event will take place on Sunday, May 11th, 2025, starting and finishing at the Starlight Stadium plaza area, next to the Sarah Beckett Memorial Playground.
The registration cost will include a finishers medal. There is an option to purchase our 2025 technical run shirt for $25 during the check out process. A virtual event will also be available for those who do not live in the Greater Victoria and West Shore area. You are able to run and walk anywhere then please share a photo on our social media pages using #runforbeckett!

The money raised will go toward two wonderful organizations: BGC South Vancouver Island (formerly the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Victoria) and the Goldstream Food Bank.
Registration closes online at 10 am (PST) on May 11th, 2025. Participants are also able to register in person at our event package pickups and between 8am and 10am on the morning of the event at the registration tent.

Virtual Event:
Virtual run packages will be mailed out in March and April 2025. Technical shirts (if ordered) will be mailed out separately.

- Online registration for local event and virtual event will close at 10:00am on May 11, 2025.
- GST will be added to your registration at checkout.
- A processing fee will be applied at checkout.
- VISA, Mastercard and Amex accepted.
- Your credit card statement will show a charge from "Race Roster" for your registration into this event.
- Your registration includes: finishers medal.
- There are no refunds, transfers or deferrals.
- Race cancellation due to an act of nature or other factors beyond the control of organizers, no refunds or transfers will be possible.
- Race Roster provides online registration for the Sarah Beckett Memorial Run
- The Sarah Beckett Memorial Run is not responsible for any liability for participants in the Virtual event. Those who registered for the Virtual event are responsible for their own personal safety while exercising.
- Any photographs taken within the event will be shared on the Sarah Beckett Memorial Run website and social media pages and registering serves as consent for photos to be posted, unless otherwise advised.
