Competitors need to grade themselves. If you currently go to the State Championships you are not a Clubman. If you are in the top 15 in the State you are an A grader. The classes are to provide a fair competitive spirit where everyone has a chance at riding with competitors of similar ability. The organisers hold the right to change your classification if they feel you are in the wrong class.
Electric Bikes
Electric Bikes are allowed but all clubs have no ability to supply power to your bikes.
They must be restricted to the following table and check before entering the start line and locked.
If found to be altered during the day you will immediately be disqualified from any further competition in the series.
50cc | Up to 4kw |
65cc | Up to 6kw |
85cc | Up to 18kw |
MX 1 – over 250cc | Up to 60hp/45kw |

Entry Rules:
You may only enter two classes.
i.e. MX1 & MX2 ( both A grade or both B grade)
i.e. Vets & MX1 or MX2
i.e. Masters & MX1 or MX2 or Clubman (being honest about your ability not including fitness)
Dual Classing is available as another entry. ($185 for the series or $85 per round) plus booking fee.
This year we are using transponders at a price of $15 hire fee per round. If you enter whole series online hire fee will be $30. If you have your own transponder there is no charge if entering via online. (it must be a ‘race result’ transponder)
Dual Classing opens on the Sunday before every race meet. If you dual class before this time your entry will be cancelled. The Race Secretary will choose which class. This allows time for everybody to get a place at this event. Dual Classing at these events will involve you operating 2 transponders.
This will get sorted at sign-in time.
Juniors can enter according to the bikes they have and the age restrictions.
You cannot enter a class that is below your ability.
If you have any questions relating to dual classing, please contact the Race Secretary, Rae Edwards on 0448 976 416 or Tri.seriesmx1@gmail.com
The classes that are run together but scores separate are MX1A/B, MX2A/B, Vet/Masters, 85S/85J, Junior Lites 2 stroke/Junior Lites 4 Stroke. The committee reserves the right to put different classes together should they need too.
