Join us as we dash through historic Marietta Square for our 10th holiday 5K Walk / Run. Dashing through the Square is a Peachtree Qualifying Race featuring electronic chip timing to ensure accuracy for runners. This family friendly race will take you past beautiful, historic homes and the quaint shops that line Marietta Square. Not in Marietta, GA but you want to participate? Join our Virtual 5K! Proceeds from this event will support youth enrichment programs and other community initiatives benefiting Cobb County.

The race is sponsored by The PEARL Foundation, Inc. in collaboration with the Rho Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Important Race Information

Date: December 20, 2025

Race Start Time: 7:30 AM EST

Virtual 5K:

1. A virtual race is designed to be 'raced' from ANY LOCATION at ANY TIME!
2. You can run, jog or walk through streets, parks or trails in your neighborhood/community or even on your treadmill. Map out your 5K route and that will be your course.
3. On race day, December 20, 2025, run, jog or walk your race!
4. Share your race: Post photos of you racing and tag us utilizing the hashtags on social media #ΡΖΩDASH2025 #PEARLDASH2025 #RhoZetaOmega

All 5K race participants will receive a high-quality runner's t-shirt and a commemorative medal. Award medals will be presented to 1st & 2nd place male and female finishers in the following age groups: 17 and under, 18-29 , 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80+

NOTE:

We will do our best to accommodate t-shirt request (shirt and/or size) for individuals that register AFTER Dec 3, 2025. T-shirt sizes and/or availability could be limited.

Race Day Packet Pickup will also be available starting at 6:00 AM EST on December 20, 2025. All timed runners should plan to arrive early to ensure adequate time is available to obtain chipped bibs from registration.

Race Day Registration will be available until 7:00 AM EST. Race registration will be online and will require a credit card. Cash/checks cannot be accepted.
