Proceeds from this race help fund a variety of programs that make a difference right here in our community. One of our biggest contributions each year is providing scholarships to deserving Cobb County seniors. I was fortunate to receive one of these scholarships years ago — and now, I have the honor of serving on the committee that awards them to the next generation.
