REGISTRATION

Q: Can I change my distance or transfer my registration to a new participant?

A: You may transfer your event via your Race Roster Participant Dashboard. Please note the transfer deadline is April 30.

Q: Can I get a refund if I am unable to participate in the RCAF Run?

A: All entry fees are non-refundable. You can, however, transfer your registration to another person no later than April 30.

Q: What is included with event registration/race kit?

A: Your entry fee includes event registration as well as finisher's medal. All additional RCAF Run product - shirt, buff and socks - are available for additional purchase through the registration process or Race Roster store.

Run bibs for any distance or package are NOT provided.

Q: Can I pick-up my race kit in-person?

A:

ALL race kits for participants who are registered for the Virtual RCAF Run events will be shipped directly to the shipping address indicated in your registration.

ALL race kits for in-person event participants will be shipped to the local RCAF Run event OPI. Each in-person event location will facilitate an on-site race kit pick-up for registered participants. Please see event details specific to your location.

Q: When will my race kit be shipped?

A: Race kits will begin shipping to registered participants early April 2025 and will continue to be shipped as participants register. Packages should be delivered within 14 days of registration. International shipping, or remote locations, may take longer. If you have not received your package within a reasonably timely manner, please contact us at rcafrun@outlook.com.

VIRTUAL EVENT

Q: What is a virtual race?

A: A virtual race is a race you can run at any location, at your pace, outside or on a treadmill, alone or with a group of friends.

Q: How long do I have to complete my virtual race?

A: You can complete your virtual race any day, any time during the race completion period (May 30 - June 15, 2025)

Q: Q: How do I record my participation manually?

A: You will need to:

i) Go to the results page of the event you're participating in. From the results page, click the "Submit a virtual result" button.
ii) To confirm your registration enter in your last name and confirmation number, or by signing into your Race Roster account.
iii) Once your registration is confirmed you will be prompted to enter your results and the results of anyone else that was included in your initial registration. You are able to come back at a later time to post additional results.
iv) After your results are submitted, you will be able to view your results details and finisher certificate. Click on your name for your result details and finishers' certificate.

Personal information is collected by the Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS), under the authority of the National Defence Act. Your name or alias, personal email address, username created for registration, password, activity data (such as run/steps), chat messages and photos will be collected on the Race Roster platform, a third party located in London, Ontario. Payment card information may also be collected to process the payment for your registration or donation, where applicable. Your username, activity data and photos you saved on the Race Roster platform will be shared with the other participants in the activity, challenge or event. The information will be used by CFMWS to communicate with you regarding the activity, challenge or event, and to generate statistical reports and the results. With your consent, CFMWS may retain and use your email address for other CFMWS communications.

Personal information is protected, and is only used and disclosed in accordance with the Privacy Act. Under the Act, you have rights of access to and correction of your personal information, and the right to file a complaint to the Privacy Commissioner of Canada regarding the institution’s handling of personal information.
