Online registration will remain open until 7:30am on ride day/approximately 30 minutes prior to the start time. It's important to note that same day registration will only be available in a paperless fashion. You'll be directed to the RWGPS event and then to the corresponding Race Roster link (here) to sign up, sign the liability waiver, and pay via PayPal or Venmo. Once you show us your phone so we can see you've completed it, we'll hand you your $10 meal voucher and route profile sticker, and you'll be ready to roll! We appreciate your understanding.
**While registering, please consider ordering event T-shirts, hoodies, and hats for yourself and your entire family to support all GCBC events for the year! That option will end October 11/two weeks prior to October 25, so we can get it all in on time for you to receive it at packet pickup and/or check-in the day of the event!
**You'll also have the option to add on the official 17th Annual Southern Magnolia bib, arm sleeves, gloves, and socks to match the jersey. That option will end September 4, so we can get it all in on time for you to receive it at packet pickup and/or check-in the day of the event!
Sizing assistance:
Police traffic control and road markings/signage will both be present but limited, so all participants should download routes to their computers, plan to play the route from their RWGPS app on their phone, or carry printed turn-by-turn directions with them. For instructions on how to download routes to your Garmin, Wahoo, or other computer, see the Ride With GPS Help page at https://support.ridewithgps.com/hc/en-us/articles/4419007646235-Export-File-Formats and your computer’s documentation.
The route profile stickers/providing navigational cues we are including for all participants regardless of when they register will also be very helpful to have. They are designed to be placed physically on your bike's frame, so you can look down and know when the next turn is coming without having to change your positioning on the bike.
Staggered start times may be decided as we get closer to the start of the event, to let the longer distance riders get out in front and have more time on the course.
The store front of Snow Boogers and three food trucks will be there and open for us! Your $10 meal voucher you receive during check-in can go towards any of these great options.
**If you're willing to donate any of the following to the event or if you're willing to help out with some pre-ride day preparations, please let us know! Here are some ideas on what you can bring/donate to help us all to feel great out there, in addition to what we'll already have out there at the rest stops for everyone:
~ additional gels, SaltStick chews, and protein bars to add to what we'll have at the stocked rest stops
~ bananas cut up and placed in containers
~ raisins/granola
We will have:
~ almond butter and honey sandwiches
~ orange slices
~ hand towels socked in ice water and lemon to cool us off
~ pickles and pickle juice
~ big coolers with ice water to supplement the actual water bottles
~ Chargel gels and other snacks as usual
