Join us for a virtual run to break in your newest sneakers from Fit2Run before school starts and to enjoy that last little bit of summer sun.
Participants from across the country will be running between July 23rd and August 10th from a distance of their choice: 1-Mile or a 5K! Upload your time and compete against your friends!

This Back2School Fit2Run Family Fun Run will benefit the Big Bill Foundation, helping provide scholarships for secondary education to those who have survived or are currently fighting childhood cancer. Compete with your friends to raise the most money and receive awesome virtual badges!

Honoring the memory of Big Bill Robinson, the co-founder of Fit2Run, and father of President Parks Robinson, The Big Bill Foundation was founded in 2020.
Bill Robinson, who partnered with Manatee County in the late 2000s to turn 487 acres of rehabilitated farmland into the hiking trails and mangrove habitats in northwest Bradenton now known as Robinson Preserve, passed in 2020, following a hard-fought battle with leukemia at the age of 70. The Big Bill Foundation was created to honor the legacy of Bill, who loved running, surfing, going for long walks outdoors, and spending time with his family.
Bill was one of the original board members of the Suncoast Aquatic Nature Center Associates, SANCA, and served as chairman from 2014–18. He dedicated countless hours of service to make SANCA and Nathan Benderson Park a success.
Bill’s passion for sport, the community and his family was evident to anyone who spent time with him. Bill Robinson was a great leader and mentor, who had a natural gift to inspire and motivate.
The Big Bill Foundation has the privilege of providing scholarships to those who have battled or are currently battling childhood cancer. To date, over $75,000 in scholarships have helped change the lives of those in need.
Run your own route wherever you are!
You will receive your Back2School Bib with fun themed stickers, some back to school swag, and Finisher's Medal in the mail before the start of the virtual race if you register before July 16th. If you register after the 16th, your packet will be mailed out within three business days of your registration.
After completing your Virtual 5K or 1-Mile, upload your time by Sunday, August 24th.
All participants will receive a beautiful finisher's medal!
There will be no age-group awards.

Look out for an email on how to upload your time to Race Roster! You can even upload your route, if you'd like!
Once an order is placed, cancellations are unavailable, as this is a donation based event. Thank you for understanding!
