You make this event possible.
There is no way we can host an event without each and every one of our amazing Volunteers! Thank you for offering to help us facilitate the triathlon. We are so extremely grateful to have you with us for the day!
You will be provided with the tools you need to do your job during the event. (Clipboards, pens, tables, water and cups for the run turn around garbage bags and safety vests) Course marshall's are invited and encouraged to bring a lawn chair to use you are out on the course) I also recommend bringing a wide brimmed hat as there may not be adequate shade while you are on the course. There will be water available for volunteers, we encourage bringing a reusable bottle to reduce waste. I will have sunscreen and bug spray available if you forget yours.
You are most welcome to join the participants for a post race meal and award presentation that will take place at the KIN Hut in Petawawa (on the Civic Centre grounds).
If you do volunteer and for some reason are unable to make it on race day (I totally understand that life can throw things at us last minute) please let me (Melissa) know as soon as you become aware you won't be able to come out so we can fill your position.
