Please join me on Saturday, April 5, 2025 in Durham, NC in a memorial walk. All proceeds will benefit the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation.
Leslie and Beth were my aunts. I lost them within 10 months of each other to an aggressive form of cancer to the bile ducts of the liver that not a lot of people know about: cholangiocarcinoma. They both loved life and were loved by their family and friends. With their many talents and gifts, they contributed greatly to their communities and to my life. They each had an enormous presence with an infectious laugh, and it doesn’t make sense that they are no longer here.
It is my hope that raising awareness and funding for CCF will lead to earlier diagnoses, clinics and hospitals equipped with knowledge to recognize and care for patients with bile duct cancer, and eventually one day find a cure.
