Perth Beach Race - Scarborough Beach

Brace yourself for a fusion of obstacles, a fun festival vibe, and a bustling vendor village. This experience is tailored for fitness enthusiasts, adventure seekers, and fun seeking crew!

The Ultimate Challenge Awaits:

• Epic Course Options: 5km Youth OCR Race, Elite Obstacle course race, 500m Kids Run Dash, 5km Running race and post race dip with Seagals, Walk or Hop across mixed terrains - beach, shared paths, and scenic trails. Starting at the amphitheatre on the foreshore, the course winds through Trigg trails back along the famous West Coast Highway run path and concludes with a finish back in the amphitheatre.
• Obstacles: Conquer 20 obstacles, including the daring 6m high A-Frame, Ninja Grip Alley, Military Walls, Crawls, Climbs, and Carries across 5kms

Wave Take-Offs and Ticketing:

Picking your race:

1. You can pick a single ticket and join the wave and meet some new people throughout the course.
2. Book as a team and every support and encourage each other.
3. If you are using a promo code you pick your ticket type and scroll to the bottom enter the code then select the hidden waves. If you know you know ;)

• Waves: Commencing from 8AM, waves will head off every 10 minutes throughout the day. Reserve your spot early as waves will sell out fast! Unless time is specified
• Exclusive Access: Your ticket grants entry to the event and crossing the finish line guarantees you the coveted finisher medal. Plus a lot of specials and deals with the local business on the foreshore strip
• Dynamic Zones: Experience warm-up zones by The Community Bootcamp Project

• C4 ENERGY ZONE – Your running along West Coast highway and back into the grasses areas for some obstacles and your met with epic Dj vibes and C4 freebies to boot.

Festival Vibes:

• Vendor Village: Explore nutrition, clothing, equipment, and indulge in delectable treats from food and drink trucks.
• Ninja Academy – Warped Wall! Can you make it to the top? Free Kids pop up obstacle course
• Music and Entertainment: DJs are Perths best resident Djs with the team at Streamline Entertainment. Showcasing DJ Shan // Coopz // Slim Reaper and more.

• Trek4Vets: Weighted Vest wave, This wave is about honoring our vets and the sacrifice they make for us on the daily. Trek4Vets is a genuine heart and soul organisation that contributes greatly to the lives of our vets current and former. The legends at T4V have a great set of events across Australia which takes you out of the comfort zone. Part profits from all ticket sales will be automatically donated to T4V. • Championship Race: Witness the showdown on Sunday at 1PM as athletes compete fiercely for podium positions after a day of taking on the course yourself. The Youth will be competing at 745am on Saturday morning to open the event.

• Not for Profit Partner: Trek4Vets is dedicated to enhancing the lives of military veterans’ post-deployment. Part of ticket proceeds supports their noble cause.

Event Recommendations:

• Facilities: Toilets, Showers, bag checks $5, hydration stations thanks to Home Filtration Systems who have geared us up with water filtration for our water stations, and first aid services will be onsite and throughout the course.
• Age Limits:

• Obstacle Course - Participants must be 10 years or older to hit the obstacle course.
• Beach Race Co – 500m from 3 years to 12. 5km from 8 years. Must be accompanied by a parent under 10 years.

Training:

• Back to basics for obstacles, add some carries, dead hangs or ring rows into your training. Ask your coach at your gym and I am sure they can give you a couple extra exercises to get your grip rocking. Chances are if you do a 45min Metcon, HIIT or Sweat session you’ll ace the course.

• The Community Bootcamp Project: The Community Bootcamp Project is a non-profit venture that is bringing Australians together through fitness to improve our physical health, mental wellbeing, and social connection. Running every Saturday across WA. These bootcamps are free to join and broken into 4 x 15 minute blocks.
