My Story…
My daughter Shannon and I have participated in this event since 2015 when she was first diagnosed with ovarian cancer at the age of 15. Turns out our family has particular genetic disposition to ovarian cancer as my mother, my niece and I have also had it. Shannon was a brilliant, beautiful and authentic human who saw the best in everyone. She is no longer with us here on earth so we will continue to do this event in her honor and memory to help fight this and other gynecologic cancers. Knowledge is power and power is hope.
