Run for Tomorrow 5K!
September 14, 8:00am
Get ready to lace up your running shoes and ignite your spirit at the first annual Run for Tomorrow 5K! This isn't just another race; it's a chance to join forces with your community and rally for the heroes who run towards the flames – our incredible Illinois Firefighters!
In honor of Suicide prevention month, Run for Tomorrow is a fundraising event, benefitting the Illinois Firefighter Peer Support group. The volunteers of this organization are the unsung heroes of the firefighter community. They provide crucial mental health resources and provide a lifeline for those who bravely face unimaginable challenges.
Whether you're a seasoned marathoner or a casual walker, please join us. Come experience the thrill of the course, the camaraderie of fellow runners, and the satisfaction of knowing you're making a real difference. Let's show our firefighters some love and help them weather any storm!
Please join your Elburn Professional Firefighter IAFF local #4749 and the Elburn & Countryside Fire Protection District in the first annual Run for Tomorrow 5K. Tell your friends, family, neighbors. Everyone is welcome.
Race participants will get their own one of a kind fire department race shirt!
After the race, stay around for music, food trucks, and to have your picture taken with a fire engine!
