About the Event
The 32nd Annual Fox Chase 5K and Youth 1 Mile run will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025. The 5K will start at 9:00 AM and the Youth 1 Mile (13 & under) will start at 10:00 AM. Come and run on the beautiful streets of Fox River Grove!
Pre race day packet pick up will be held:
Saturday, October 18th from 9AM-11AM outside Majestic Fitness
Race day registration is available from 7:45 AM - 8:45 AM.
Race shirt availability and sizes are not guaranteed after September 30, 2025.
5K: Cash awards will be given to the TOP MALE AND FEMALE along with medals to the top runners in each of the following age brackets:
13 & under
14 - 19
20 - 24
25 - 29
30 - 34
35 - 39
40 - 44
45 - 49
50 - 54
55 - 59
60 - 64
65 - 69
70+
Race Site/5K Course
The Fox Chase Run will start and finish in Stanger Park, which is the park adjacent to Algonquin Road School in Fox River Grove (975 Algonquin Road)
About Fox River Grove Recreation Council
The Fox River Grove Recreation Council (FRGRC) is committed to providing the youth of our community with an opportunity to develop physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually through participation in organized athletics.
Participation in sports helps to develop beneficial lifetime skills. Specifically, the elements of self-control, discipline, and commitment are developed and practiced. Participants are encouraged to make the right decisions and choices in sports as well as the right decisions and choices in life.
The FRGRC is composed entirely of volunteer members and is a qualified 501c3 organization.
