The inaugural Twin Cities Twilight Relays is Minneapolis' newest running event and is sure to become an instant summer classic! Totaling 13.1(ish) miles, the Twilight Relays is a 4-person relay race where each team member runs an identical approximately 3.3-mile full clockwise loop of Bde Maka Ska, starting and finishing at Thomas Beach. During and after the event participants congregate in a festival area with team tents, music, and food to cheer each other on and ready for (and then recover from) their own relay leg.
The Twilight Relays is a timed event with awards for the top team in multiple categories, but at its core it's more fun that competitive and is intended to be a summer running celebration of our vibrant and diverse Twin Cities running community and all that makes it great!

Twin Cities Twilight Relays: Create a Team
Price changes in 9 days 3 hours-
During registration team captains will name the team (please keep the team names PG-13 at worst) and may create a password to keep people they don't know from accidentally joining their team (captains will need to share this code with people they do want to allow to join their team). Captains pay the full team's registration price when creating the team.

$220 plus fees. Captains will pay for the full team while creating the team. Non-Captain team members, please promptly pay your Captain back your share of the team’s registration fee. Nobody likes a freeloader!

Twin Cities Twilight Relays: Join a Team
Join a team that your Captain has already created (you will need to know your team's name and--if your Captain created one--the team password to join. Ask your Captain if you don't have either!). Your Captain paid the team's full registration price when creating the team, so please promptly pay them back your share of the team’s registration fee. Nobody likes a freeloader!
Relay Rivals: Create a League Access code only

Relay Rivals leagues are a race within a race for a group of teams that want to compete against each other. If you are selecting this option you are choosing to create a Relay Rivals League you will be required to create a password and must share it and the league name with the Captain of teams you invite to join. You will pay to create the League, and it will be free for other teams to join (so if you think about it that's kinda a flex).

Relay Rivals leagues are a race within a race for a group of teams that want to compete against each other. If you are selecting this option you are choosing to join a Relay Rivals League; to successfully join you must know the league's name and password (please's check with the person who created the league if you don't have this information).
