My Story…
Avery is running in memory of her dad in the Wellwood Run for your Bum for Colorectal Cancer Awareness this October. This is our 13th year running in this race! We began participating in the race only weeks after Jason (aka Daddy) was diagnosed with rectal cancer. Avery was 3 yrs old. We were lucky to run with Jason the first couple of years, before he passed away. Now Team "Running for Daddy" participates in his name every year. This event means a lot to Avery and she feels proud to run for her daddy each year.
