Packet Pick Up details

Mark your calendars and look for that email from Race Roster & Dewey Goes Pink. ----------------------- Packet Pickup is located at The Starboard, under the tents on Saulsbury Street. The Starboard, Delaware 1, Dewey Beach, DE, USA *NEW FOR 2025* Friday, October 3rd, packet pickup is available from 3 pm to 8 pm & Saturday, October 4th from 9 am to 10:30 am. On Friday, join us for live music by the Pips on the outside stage beginning at 5 pm. Beverage service will be available outside, too! Let the party begin! Sponsors can pick up their packets at the VIP Party on Thursday, October 2, 2025. LATE PACKET PICKUP Did you miss packet pickup? While you didn't get to race or walk, you can still get your party wristband and race t-shirt. Late Packet Pickup will be available at the registration tent on Saturday from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. |

10:30 am: 1.5 Mile Fun Walkers - line up outside Izzy Plaza on the Southbound side of Highway One
10:55 am: National Anthem
11:00 am: Start of Race & 1.5 Mile Fun Walk
11:30 am - 1:00 pm: Medal pick-up at Registration area (for top 3 finishers in five-year age groups from "9 and under" to "80 and over")
11:30 am: Bethany Blues Buffet & Grotto's Pizza Truck Open
11:30 am: Music by Kristen & the Noise
12:00 pm: Team Fundraising Competition Ends & Raffle Ticket Sales End
12:30 pm: Award presentation on Stage - Individual & Team Awards (winners should line up next to the stage)
Raffle Ticket will be drawn on stage for the winner of the Electric Bike donated by PedalTech Electric Bikes
1:00 pm: Silent Auction Closes - pickup available from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm behind the outdoor stage
2:00 pm: Race Shirt Exchange Available at Merch Collection Store (northbound side of Hwy 1) - (only if extra shirts are available)
2:30 pm: Music by Bryen O'Boyle
4:30 pm: 14th Annual Dewey Goes Pink ends, but the fun continues inside the Starboard!
BATHROOMS
There are Porta-Potties at the intersection of Saulsbury/Bayard Ave as you end the race/walk. Additional Porta-Potties are to the side of the stage. The Starboard bathrooms are also available.
FOOD & DRINK
Bethany Blues of Lewes provides a HUGE complementary buffet for all runners, walkers, and those who purchased a post-party wristband. Grottos Pizza will have its pizza truck providing complimentary slices for guests. And, Vanderwende's will have ice cream available from their truck.
Complimentary water and alcoholic beverages are also provided for runners, walkers, and those with post-party wristbands. Beverages are available outside at the bars. Dogfish Head will also be on site, pouring complimentary samples of their beer.
The Starboard is also open for business! You can head inside and purchase your favorites from our bartenders.
MEDAL PICK UP
Top three finishers in five-year age groups from "9 and under" to "80 and over" receive a medal. Medals can be picked up at the registration area on Saulsbury Street between 11:30 am - 1:00 pm.
PARKING
Parking is FREE in Dewey Beach. Don't block a driveway and be mindful of the yellow-marked areas on the street. Park outside the yellow markings. We advise parking toward the south side of town and walking up, as the area around the Starboard can get very congested. There are many spots available on the bayside of both Dagsworthy Avenue and McKinley Avenue.
RACE SHIRT EXCHANGE
Not happy with the size you selected? You can exchange your unused race shirt beginning at 2 pm on Saturday at the Starboard MERCH store. The Merch store is located across the street from the event on the northbound side of Highway One. Weather-dependent = exchanges will take place outside of the store. Look for the table.
WATER STOPS
- 5K Race: There is one water stop near the Rehoboth Elementary School.
- 1.5 Mile Fun Walk: There is one water stop 1/2 way through the walk.

NOTE: In order to move the finish line to Bayard Street, the race will measure 3.24 miles vs a traditional 5K of 3.1 miles.
1.5 Mile Fun Walk
Award Ceremony will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday, October 4, 2025, on the stage.
- Overall Male and Overall Female are awarded a medal and a $100 Starboard Gift Certificate
- Male and Female Masters are awarded a medal and a $50 Starboard Gift Certificate
- Top three finishers in five-year age groups from "9 and under" to "80 and over" receive a medal
Team Awards:
Total money raised as of 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 4, 2025
- Top 3 Teams that raise the most money will be awarded a Starboard Cup - the largest cup will go to the 1st place team!
- Top 3 teams that raise the most money will also be awarded a bottle of champagne.
