Run through historic downtown Delano along the Crow River on a Sunday afternoon. Kids run free at noon for 1/2 mile, adults run/walk beginning at 12:15. Both events begin and end at St. Maximillian Kolbe Academy, a 150 year-old parochial preK-8 school in downtown Delano located at St. Peter and 2nd Street.
Same day registration available. Family max of $75.
This race is informally timed at the finish line but will not be chipped.
Afterwards stick around for awards, food trucks and socializing.
Participants receive black cotton short sleeve t-shirt. Designed by a local artist, the shirt features the iconic St. Max steeple that anchors downtown Delano with a nod to our school’s patron saint; St. Maximilian Kolbe. The Steeple Chase returns after a 30-year absence. We can't wait!
