ThurtenE Carnival Mile

ThurtenE is the nation’s oldest and largest student-run carnival held at Washington University in St. Louis every spring.
As part of our spirit week leading up to the carnival, we are hosting a one mile run through campus. Finishing the last 200 on the track, we hope this event will foster excitement for the carnival and offer extra visibility for our community partner- the Little Bit Foundation.
Anyone is welcome at this Run/Walk no matter their fitness level and we hope students, teachers, and community members can all gather for this FUN race. Pacers will be there and assigned based on estimated time entry.
If you would like to purchase a t-shirt, you must register by March 11th!
This race will be officially chip-timed, with results posted on Timing MD. The top male and female finishers in the Student, Professor, and Community Member categories will each receive a free sheet of carnival ride tickets.
The event will take place rain or shine and will only be cancelled in the event of a thunderstorm or other extreme weather. No refunds will be issued in the case of cancellation.
We welcome families to run or walk the mile together. Children under 13 do not need to register.
