My Story…
Welcome to my fundraising page! We are raising funds to provide meaningful scholarships to youth in San Francisco. Many of our participants are under-resourced BIPOC youth with unique challenges to overcome. Our scholarships allow low-income first-gen students to pursue higher education & go after their dreams. With the current political and budget climate, these funds are more important than ever!
I've had the pleasure of leading the Mayor's Youth Employment & Education Program for the past 4 yrs, serving approximately 1,000 high schoolers each year through paid internships, job readiness training, and academic support. It's been incredibly powerful to see their growth!
As an avid runner, it brings me joy to be able to use running as a way to connect with community and raise money for an important cause. I would greatly appreciate any amount, big or small (or better yet, register to run the 5K/10K!) YOUR donation will contribute to a youth's future and goals!
