My Story…

ODM's mission is to address poverty, build communities, and cultivate followers of Christ in Denver. Last year we had over 100,000 points of contact representing a child in our learning center, a teen going to camp, a homeless individual getting a cup of coffee in the Family Room, a mom and child sleeping in a warm bed at the Treasure House, a family getting a box of food, and so much more!
We see lives restored and completely changed when they find compassion, realize they have value, enter a loving community, and meet Jesus as a Friend.

Our 2025 Virtual R4TD 5K Was a Success!
Thanks to YOU, we raised $239,722.98 through this year’s R4TD Virtual 5K!
BUT We're Not Done Yet — Help Us Reach $250,000 Our Goal!
This year’s Run for the Door was an incredible success thanks to YOU. With two generous matching gifts—a $100,000 pre-race match and a $10,000 Race Day match—we raised an amazing $239,722.98 to help fight poverty in Denver!

For nearly 30 years, Open Door Ministries has provided practical help and Christ's hope to people who are overcoming homelessness or poverty in our city. Through 18 distinct programs under four focus areas -- Housing, Children & Youth, Outreach and Leadership Development -- we believe the best way to serve our friends is to surround them with support, holistically empowering them to overcome obstacles, attain self-sufficiency, and thrive!
